Our Transitional Housing Program is a 2-year residential plan designed to help Hawai’i's homeless families escape the cycle of poverty. With your support, we provide more than just a roof over their heads — we offer life-changing opportunities for growth, education, and stability.

UPDATES:

We have secured 3 homes.  2 on Big Island (east side) and 1 on O'ahu (west side).

We just moved a family into the first Big Island home, the second one is still in reconstruction. 

Our O'ahu Condo was just purchased in December 2024, and we have a single mom with one baby in the home now.

Our mission is to empower families to achieve lasting self-sufficiency. Through housing stability and tailored support services, we aim to:

  • Reduce homelessness in Hawai’i.

  • Strengthen the social and emotional well-being of participating families.

  • Provide the tools necessary for parents to secure employment and children to excel in education.

How it Works

How It Works

  1. Safe Housing: Families receive secure housing for up to 24 months, giving them the stability they need to focus on rebuilding their lives.

  2. Support Services: We provide mentorship, life skills training, financial literacy workshops, and access to community resources.

  3. Educational Empowerment: Children are supported through tutoring, mentorship, and activities to help them thrive academically.

  4. Self-Sufficiency Goals: Parents are guided toward employment, educational achievements, and long-term housing plans.

    • $100: Provides household essentials (bedding, cleaning supplies, etc.).

    • $250: Ensures access to mentorship and training programs.

    • $1,000: Sponsors one family’s housing for a month.

    • $3,000: Covers school supplies and tutoring for children.

    • $10,000: Fully supports one family for a year.
