Easter Cheer on Maui

With the uncertainties of Covid we are not sure if we can host Easter in the park or only conduct outreach.

Due to the challenges our homeless keiki face on Maui, Project Hawai'i brings the Easter bunny to their locations. The majority of our keiki live in cars and have to move nightly.

The joy that our children experience when we provide them with the joys of Easter helps them gain self-worth and hope for a better tomorrow.

Currently we have 177 homeless keiki in our program on Mau'i

Easter Bunny hops her way across the island bringing these children their baskets filled with educational projects and arts to keep their minds active. Bunny bags provide them hygiene, and a new outfit to make their Easter a day they're not soon to forget.

Easter is also a school break which means our homeless children will not have their school  based meals. We provide meal cards for their future meal and a healthy lunch bag for the day.
