Waikiki Teens on the Streets Outreach Team Duties:   (choose one or more)

Please Note:

For those choosing either option 1 or 2, your team can meet us at the outreach spot at 4:00 p.m., or we will make arrangements for earlier that day.

For those choosing option 3 or 5, those items/monetary donations, etc. can be dropped off at one our collection sites in either Pearl City, Kapolei or Kane'ohe beforehand or mailed.

  1. Provide 48sack lunches                                                                                                                         (like a healthy sandwich, snack items, juice box and fresh fruit)

  2. Provide 48 personal hygiene bags in a quart size ziplock baggie

              Travel or Hotel Sizes:

  • Shampoo/Conditioner

  • Toothpaste/Brush

  • Washcloth /Small soap bar 

  • Razor

  • 2-3 band-aids

  • Small hair brush (fits in the bag)

  • Small Hand Sanitizer or travel wet naps

3. Conduct fundraiser for our larger outreach needs such as the backpack program, shoes, meal cards, etc.

4. Connect with Waikiki eateries to set up donation pick up for our outreach dates.

5. Provide meal cards for $10 each at either McDonald's or Burger King. (those are both on Waikiki and have easy access for them.

At this time there are NO VOLUNTEER opportunities for people to just to show up at the event. Our purpose is to be interactive and help change the lives of homeless children. Extra volunteers actually impede our overall goals in best supporting the homeless teens.
