TYPICAL HOUSING SITUATIONS
We provide year round services to homeless (unsheltered) children living in extreme poverty across our islands. These are examples of how our keiki live from day to day. Several hundreds are born into homeless, and we do our best to help them stop their cycle of poverty
OUTREACH DELIVERIES
This takes the form of monthly outreach, dedicated teen mentoring, holiday care programs, and our award winning summer camp that offers complete back to school services like backpacks filled with supplies, new outfits, shoes and even school uniforms.
To break that cycle we believe we must provide for as much of a child's full needs as we can for as long as we can. This includes educating them, both academically and socially, and exposing them to a world outside of poverty and homelessness. We provide for the whole child by working throughout the year to provide life changing opportunities, events, and interactive learning to these children living in extreme poverty situations. This exposes them to things we take for granted that are essential for growing in a positive way and will change the path of their life.
EASTER CELEBRATIONS
Our Easter Celebrations allow every child the wonders of the holiday. Enjoy a hot nutritous meal and a visit from the Easter Bunny. Children receive Easter baskets, new outfits, shoes and hygiene bunny bags
CHRISTMAS WISH
Christmas Wish Program is the start of how Project Hawai'i, Inc. has grown into this year round program. Starting by changing the lives of homeless children with just a gift from Santa! We love our keiki
SUMMER CAMP
Our Educational Summer Program provides these precious children with a safe and serene place to learn and grow. We provide nutritious meals, teach the kids how to stay healthy while learning life and social skills. Here they develop the self-esteem they need to find success. We are their stepping stones to a brighter future.
Project Hawai'i provides hundreds of homeless children with all their educational needs. This includes their new backpacks filled with school supplies, new outfits, shoes, and school uniforms including physical physical education clothes. We send them back to school prepared and ready to learn.
