April Volunteer Opportunities- O'ahu

While April seems to have so many awareness events, and means different things to different people, our National Awareness and support focuses on Child Abuse and Youth Service! We do our best to empower those to make their own changes in life and change the path they are on. Teaching life and social skills along with providing interactive solutions help our youth grow and thrive.

You can be the difference in a child's life this month by volunteer for just a few hours at one of our events island-wide.

The following events will also be honored for those needing service for the National Youth Service, or Domestic Violence awareness needs. The events will be raising funds to empower our homeless children and help with the summer educational programs. Our teen mentoring and jr. leader programs are expanding, and this is a great way to help.

All volunteers will be working as a team to accomplish our goal of raising funds. Volunteers will be holding awareness signs and fish nets to collect donations from the public. It tends to get too hot. Volunteers are expected to be able to walk and stand for the shift. (of course can take breaks, but must be able to dedicate their time to the 3-hour event). Volunteers will attend a short orientation and overview of our program. Then will be positioned along the sidewalks and intersections to collect donations.
